They vanished!!!!
Guy who was doing the work (Nigel Callaghan)is now in Dover with a company called Dean Castle Transport.

Airways Business Services owe us £190 but after 4 phone calls we still have not had our payment it has be 2 months now.

Be paying them a visit asap with bertie bat.
Also Maple Pring beds!! This idoit even gave us bad feedback, I have 4 other couriers who he owes too!

Why not putting a small claim in at your county court.It works all the time.

Invoiced UnitedCouriers on the 01.07.'07 for a job done in August '07,but still haven't recieved a payment.And tey themself state that payments have to be made within 14 days???!!!

Anyone needing a good debt collecting service, contact Thomas Higgins & Co in Wallasey (Tel: 0151 630 8006), its £2 for a "letter before action" and from then on it's up to you how far to proceed or even whether to proceed. Tried and tested and highly recommended - just ask them for a pack.

Or,as I do,make a small business claim at the county court.Worked 3 times so far.

I just used Direct Route for a firm and they paid up after a week. They Said They have not had any letter from them but strange how they paid up after 5 months

It is amaizing sometimes with what excusses some customers come up with,or how quick they pay theyr outstanding accounts when you use someone to get your money.

The industry should make it Cash on collection/delivery for amounts under £300.
If you're in this business and you haven't got £300 to hand then you perhaps should consider doing something else.

RRS also owe me £4600 Nigel works with me and has no dealings or connections with RRS it's a tough industry we all work in with dirt bags at every corner a word of advice, insure your invoices, and do a credit check on any new customers. Any owner drivers fed of chasing there money should give me (Dean Castle) or Nigel a call we'r still taking on subbies.

@PORT ALSO OWE ME MONEY (£1400) AND ANOTHER HAULIER NEXT TO ME HAS BEEN KNOCKED FOR £18000 BY THEM. LIKE I'VE SAID B4 INSURE YOUR INVOICES OK IT COSTS BUT NOT AS MUCH AS NOT GETTING PAID.

What is the ettiquette for naming a courier who owes me but still posts loads on here?
It`s not a lot but despite several calls and letters he still refuses to pay!!
